Swiss International signs 2nd hotel in Lahore; the Swiss International Lahore – DHA

Swiss International and M/S DB 32 enter into a Hotel Management Agreement to operate the 125 rooms and suites upscale hotel in the DHA area (phase 3) of Lahore, Pakistan.

Swiss International and M/S 32 (part of TCF) are proud to announce that today they signed a Hotel Management Agreement for an upscale hotel in Lahore-DHA phase 3.

The hotel will be constructed in 3 phases. The first phase will be completed by January 1, 2024. 40 Rooms will be delivered along with the Swiss Flavours restaurant and Lounge and an Eventives room, as well as the lobby.

The 2nd phase will be delivered and made available to the guests by the 1st of January 2026. A further 40 rooms will be ready, as well as Ted & Co – Bar & Lounge and some more Eventives rooms.

Finally on the 1st of January 2027, the hotel will be completed with another 45 rooms and an Inspirations Gym. The Swiss International will then have 125 rooms and suites, a Swiss Flavours Restaurant & Lounge, a TED & Co Bar & Lounge, several Eventives rooms for meetings & events and an Inspirations Gym. All meeting the requirements of a Swiss International upscale hotel.

Mr. Mashood Amir, owner of the Swiss International Lahore-DHA commented on the realization of the hotel with Swiss International: “We choose to have our hotel operated by Swiss International as it has an excellent reputation as an international experienced hotel company. In Pakistan, there is already one hotel, the Royal Swiss Lahore near the airport also a quality hotel operating in the deluxe segment. The company has more plans for expansion in Pakistan and we wanted to be part of that presence.”

Pakistan is a very exciting country with its extremely beautiful and breathtaking nature, said Mr. Henri Kennedie, President & CEO of Swiss International Hotels & Resorts.

The country has the world’s 5th largest population with over 225 million inhabitants, a very fast-growing middle class, and a median age of 23 years.

The ties with the Muslim world and with the US and China are close and that makes with the strong domestic market, Pakistan an extremely interesting country for both the business- and the leisure market.

Swiss International is focusing its expansion on cities as Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Gwadar. Also, the touristic sights in the northern parts of Pakistan are on target.

Swiss International now has 3 signed hotel agreements in place:

  1. Royal Swiss Lahore – in operation
  2. Swiss International Changla Gali – under construction
  3. Swiss International Lahore-DHA – under construction
